Ohio WC Terms: Statute of Limitations
Statute of Limitations
An injured worker must file their workers' compensation claim within a certain time limit, known as the statute of limitations. If the injured worker does not timely file their claim it will be forever barred.
Because the issue of time limits is important and potentially confusing, if you have a specific question about the time limits for filing a claim, you should contact an attorney.
