Ohio Academy of Trial Lawyers Elects Stewart Jaffy to Workers’ Compensation Hall of Fame
The Ohio Academy of Trial Lawyers elected Stewart Jaffy to the Workers’ Compensation Hall of Fame during its annual convention in April 1996.
Stewart Jaffy previously served on the Industrial Commission Advisory Commission and a Legislative Select Committee on Workers’ Compensation as well as the Industrial Commission Nominating Commission, the Labor-management-government Rehabilitation Advisory Committee and the Self-Insured Evaluation Board.
Mr. Jaffy is best known for his participation in briefing and arguing workers’ compensation cases before the Ohio Supreme Court which have set major precedent in workers’ compensation such as Ramirez, Village, Crabtree, Kinney, Collingsworth and Ohio AFL-CIO v. Voinovich. He has participated in over one hundred cases in the Ohio Supreme Court.
