Ohio Industrial Commission
The term Industrial Commission (IC) refers
both to the agency
which handles the decision making in the workers' compensation system
and the three-member board which runs the agency.
The agency referred to as the Industrial Commission consists of three
levels of hearings: district hearing officers, staff hearing officers,
and the board known as the Industrial Commission.
The three-member board known as the Industrial Commission sets policy
for the agency and also acts as the final level of appeals within the
agency.
The
Industrial Commission's web site
includes
forms which can be downloaded, news, contact information, and
policy information such as the Industrial Commission's rules,
resolutions and the
Hearing Officer's Manual.
