Occupational Disease
Occupational diseases (O.D. or OD) are diseases
resulting from the employment. There are two ways to establish an
occupational disease which is compensable under the workers'
compensation system. An occupational disease can be proved according to
the schedule of occupational diseases, contained in Ohio Revised Code
Section 4123.68 or by the general occupational disease definition
contained in Ohio Revised Code Section 4123.01(F).
