Full
Weekly Wage
The Full Weekly Wage (F.W.W. or FWW) is the
basis of compensation payments for the first twelve weeks of temporary
total. Thereafter, the Average Weekly
Wage is the basis of compensation payments.
As a general matter, the Full Weekly Wage is determined
as the higher of:
- gross wages (including overtime) earned over the past
six weeks, divided by six; or
- gross wages (excluding overtime) for the seven days
before the date of injury.
In certain circumstances, the Full Weekly Wage may be
calculated differently.
