The District Hearing Officer (D.H.O. or DHO)
holds hearings and rules on disputed matters. The District Hearing
Officer hearing is the first level of decision making at the Industrial
Commission. Decisions of the District Hearing Officer can be appealed
to the Staff Hearing Officer (see
the Hearing Track).
