Maximum Medical Improvement (MMI)

O.A.C. 4121-3-32(A)(1) defines maximum medical improvement as “a treatment plateau”, which occurs when no further change in the condition is expected from continued treatment. When an injured worker's condition reaches maximum medical improvement (MMI), temporary total payments are terminated.
