Ohio WC Terms: Amputation/Loss of Use Award

Amputation / Loss of Use Award

R.C. 4123.57(B) provides for payment of the amputation/loss of use award which compensates injured workers for the loss, or loss of use, of a body part. R.C. 4123.57(B) lists the number of weeks of compensation paid for each body part. An injured worker can receive the award for loss of use of a body part if for all practical purposes they can no longer use the body part.
