BWC Regulation Changes

MCO Appeals

There is now only one appeal step at the MCO level, not two, as in the past.

Vocational Rehabilitation

A new rule dealing with vocational rehabilitation, O.A.C. 4123- 18-03, is being adopted. Eligibility for vocational rehabilitation is being changed. It will no longer be required that an injured worker have a 25% permanent partial disability. It will be enough that the injured worker has job restrictions documented by the physician of record.
